In Reflection of The Self

Swami Muktananda ji

With eyes brimming with love, sing His name

All inner mysteries will be disclosed

Every bird and plant

will reveal itself to you as Brahman.

The knowledge of Vedanta will manifest everywhere.

O dear one keep chanting God’s name

while sitting, or standing,

or involved in the world/

Never forget Him.

Unite your mind with the Self.

– Swami Muktananda

Little Things – Poem

Little drops of water
Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean,
And the pleasant land.

So the little moments,
Humble though they be,
Make the mighty ages
Of eternity.

So our little errors
Lead the soul away
From the path of virtue,
Far in sin to stray.

Little deeds of kindness,
Little words of love,
Make our earth Happy,
Like the heaven above.

It does not pay to Gossip

Adobe Spark

Most of us spend a large portion of our day talking about one thing or another. Even if we leave aside the talking we do , in connection with our job, responsibilities etc, you will find that we still do a great deal of talking, what percentage of all words are necessary, or more to the point, how much of that thinking is of value, and how much is gossip?

Conversation with God

“Conversation with people requires audible voice. Conversation with God requires silence. People who talk too much are not with God, there is much less time in their thoughts for Him. Those who inversely converse with God are outwardly more silent, no matter what their surrounding, they are habitually more quiet, because the devotee has plenty to say to God, he has very little time to say to others. When those who have much to say to God so speak, their words are of God and full of wisdom and understanding.”

Love Makes Us Grow

Love & Grow

Love causes our personality to increase to extend, to grow, to become more enriched with each new communication just as in the furrow of wheat first appears as ears, then as sheaves, then as a whole crop, with the power to seed the entire soil. By putting us in communication with our brothers, love makes us grow and the greater our growth the more fitted we are to give ourselves again.

First step:

Communication begins with ourselves, Being strict with yourself by pulling all the strings  firm from the outside, and give love and care from the inside, will make you grow as a person. Once you practice this careful, intense and intimate communication with the person you spend your whole life with, yourself , you will be in harmony with the nature and its magical world it has for you and word that it wishes you to hear.

Second step:

Now that you understand yourself and know what it feels like being in touch with yourself in the ocean of Love, you naturally and effortlessly comprehend and sense the vibrations all around you, not only in people you work with, your friends, family, your pets; even with the places you visit. You begin to feel the sensations and positive vibrations that will help you grow even more as a social being at this point.

Third step:

Finally, once you have expanded from your own being to society; Love guides you towards even higher  dimensions which are much more spiritual and next to The Truth. Truth that is ever existing and omni-present. Persistence with feeling Love in yourself and others regardless of what seems apparent, if you keep repeating the first two steps in your daily practices and keep believing in your intensions to Love & Grow, you are destined to reach to this advanced state of being.

Do not misunderstand Love, with Affection or Attachment. Possessing something or being obsessed with something or someone, is not Love. Remember, Love is freedom, Love is a way of life. Love is not , and must not be associated with things, people or places. Love just is.

The Secret of Happy Home

‘ I have one of the best of wives; and when I go to work. She always has a kind word of encouragement for me and when I go home, she meets me with a smile and a kiss, and then tea is sure to be ready, and she has done so many little things through the day to please me that I cannot find it in my heart to speak an unkind word to anybody.
